About Me

Hello all! I'm Jordan Whiteside, the creator of this site. I started this in September 2003 as a School Project in Grade 11, and in the last 2 and a half years, it has grown alot! I have lived my entire life in North Vancouver, but I've only been skiing since I was 13, but in my 5 years of skiing, I've come a long way. I started out as a cautious, slow skier, but within 2 years I got to an advanced level. In December 2004 I began teaching as a volunteer with Grouse Mountain's Ski Wee Program, and a year later I took my CSIA level one course, and now I'm a paid instructor still teaching Ski Wee. It's the best job any 19 year old could have! I've been to ski resorts all around BC, and even into the Alberta Rockies. I've made many trips to Whistler, but I do most of my skiing on Grouse Mountain. My main goal with this website is to provide imformation on Skiing and Snowboarding in Western Canada, and a place for other skiers and snowboarders to share experiences and get to know others abroad through the forum.
